Architects Pearn and Procter confirmed that the same application for the expansion from a display garden centre and nursery to a garden centre complex with display garden/restaurant, will be resubmitted in two or three months to Cornwall Council.
The plan for the garden centre includes a main sales building, partially covered sales area and an open external sales area, as well as customer car parking area for 369 vehicles and six coaches;
Planned internal sales are is 3,100sqm, with partially enclosed sales area at 1,136sqm and external sales area 4,100sqm. Plans propose to extend the customer café/restaurant to 703sqm.
The first planning application was submitted in 2004 by Danning & Symons to Carrick District Council. A further permission expired in 2014.
