Morus rotunbiloba Charlotte Russe (‘Matsunaga’), Clematis ‘Taiga’ and Leontopodium alpinum Blossom of Snow (‘Berghman’) are the latest introductions and Plantipp "is confident that all three make a good chance to become the Chelsea Plant of the Year 2017".
Morus Charlotte Russe is a dwarf mulberry that fruits at an early age on new and old wood and is "ideal for in a pot on the patio or balcony". It has a long flowering and fruiting season so you can enjoy its delicious fruit for a long period.
Clematis ‘Taiga’ has flowers that are purple blue. Throughout the flowering season, the flowers change in colour.
Leontopodium Blossom of Snow: this Edelweiss has large flowers that are characteristic white with a yellow heart against silver grey foliage. Blossom of Snow is a good choice for rock gardens, mixed plantings and perennial borders but is also as a cut flower.
