Petersham Nurseries opens lifestyle outlet in Covent Garden

Petersham Nurseries has opened in London's Covent Garden, "bringing nature and elegance to the heart of London with an unparalleled lifestyle destination".

Petersham Nurseries Covent Garden is launching in two phases; a lifestyle, home and garden shop, a delicatessen, wine cellar and florist are now open; two restaurants and a bar will follow.

Lara Boglione is managing director.

The shop offers homeware, furniture and gifts, antiques, chandeliers and Murano glassware, Italian hand-painted linen and cotton towels.

Specialist indoor plants, gardening tools and terrariums are for sale. A potting service prepares and plants window boxes and containers for customers to take away.

A delicatessen is at the store too. The selection includes Petersham Nurseries’ own line of jams, honey, muesli, tea & coffee, and a counter serving Italian style sandwiches, British and Italian cheese, charcuterie, fresh pasta and sauces.

Petersham Cellar, founded by Lara Boglione and her husband Giovanni Mazzei of Marchesi Mazzei offers Italian wines.

A florist, restaurant and bar complete the offer.
