Pesticide conference 7-8 October

The NFU, HDC and Stockbridge Technology Centre are holding a pesticide conference on 7-8 October at STC Cawood to discuss the industry approach to current EU proposals.

The proposals, regarding a revision of the existing 91/414/EEC regulation and the harmonisation of maximum residue levels, "seriously threaten the future of the horticultural businesses in the UK and across Europe", according to the NFU's horticulture and potatoes newsletter.
