Parks conference addresses recession

Parks managers can learn about securing funding during the recession at GreenSpace's Parks in the Credit Crunch conference.

The GreenSpace conference - Parks in the Credit Crunch - will look at funding and resources for parks during the uncertain economic climate.

Parks in the Credit Crunch is aimed at park managers, policy makers, councillors, landscape architects and all other professionals with an interest in parks and green spaces.

The conference is being held at the Royal Geographical Society in London on 17 February.

 The conference covers: 

  • How to find and apply for alternative sources of funding
  • How to attract corporate sponsorship and volunteer time
  • How to make the most of existing resources
  • How to market your work to potential investors and funders
