The Nene Park Trust is holding a wildlife festival in green spaces around Peterborough in May.
The festival aims to get members of the public out and about spotting wildlife in their local areas, through bird walks, bat evenings, pond-dipping, bug hunts and craft activities.
Many of the events are held at the 202 ha Ferry Meadows Country Park.
The trust, a charity which manages more than 688 hectares of land to the west of Peterborough is also running a competition where one person can win a day as a park ranger.
Nene Park Trust is working with Froglife, the Wildlife Trust and Buglife on the project and has financial support from the Big Lottery Fund.
