Outdoor living web retailer Alfresia launches £100,000 marketing campaign

Garden and conservatory furniture web retailer Alfresia.co.uk, has increased its summer collection by 30 per cent.

Alfresia.co.uk's range includes new outdoor ovens, paella cookers, masonry and premium barbecues.

More accessibly priced entry level barbecues and garden furniture sets are also new.

The new products and increased stock will be supported by a £100,000 marketing drive.

The Rochdale-based company which sells garden furniture, outdoor cooking equipment and luxury via its website, has also doubled staff levels in the UK manufacturing and logistics operations.

Alfresia has recorded double the amount of purchases via smartphones to its mobile enhanced website.

Marketing manager Craig Corbett said: "We were delighted with the growth we saw in 2014, and this has enabled us to expand our product range to include a bigger offering than ever, and offer even larger stock levels to meet demand. And with sales already up 30 per cent in the first quarter of 2015 the early signs suggest we can expect another great year.

"We have also seen a noticeably younger demographic of customers purchasing items than in previous years new homeowners and first time buyers look to enjoy their gardens and outdoor space, and this is reflected in the steep increase in mobile sales."
