Old Barn Garden Centre promotes UK Ladybird survey

The Old Barn Garden Centre, part of the Wyevale stable, has been promoting the 2008 UK Ladybird Survey in local media.

The goal is to record sightings of the two-spot ladybird, which is threatened by the harlequin ladybird. Staff at the centre have been offering survey forms to help customers monitor their gardens for two-spot ladybirds. The centre is also involved in the Bumblebee Conservation Trust's hunt for sightings of the UK's newest bee, the tree bumblebee, which is from France.
