Wilson was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay Dunford the sum of £300 in compensation via the court.
Wilson was found guilty at Lincoln District Magistrates Court on 21 August. The incident occurred as a result of a dispute over a Labels & Packaging printer that led to Dunford visiting the Classic Nurseries premises to retrieve the equipment.
Dunford said she is still waiting for the compensation. Wilson told HW that he has been abroad and plans to pay the compensation.
Labels & Packaging also runs Fresh Pack Labels and is based in Colchester. Classic Nurseries has been growing since 1966 and is based in Lincolnshire. It supplies 700 varieties of conifers, fruit trees, soft fruits, ornamentals, hedging and shrubbery.
