Notcutts to launch new restaurant

Notcutts garden centre in Staines, Surrey is opening a new restaurant.

The official launch will take place on 27 October.

Notcutts has a £45m brand repositioning plan underway.

Chief executive Nick Burrows hopes the changes will add 50 per cent to turnover and reach £100m while doubling profit.

Central to that aim is new restaurants at all centres, which he said can increase catering spend from 13 to 20 per cent of turnover.
