The one nutrient found to be present at higher levels in organic rather than conventional produce was phosphorus, but the review considered this difference "not clinically significant".
Similarly, while pesticide residues were generally lower in organic produce, "differences in risk for exceeding maximum allowed limits were small", it added.
The Soil Association, which promotes organic produce, said it was "pleased to see that [the study] recommends organic food as a way for people to avoid pesticides in their food", but claimed its methodology was "flawed".
It said a similar UK review paper had found significant differences in nutrient levels between organic and conventionally grown fresh produce.
