Unemployed people are being given the chance to find a new job while working in Hammersmith & Fulham Council's parks through a new initiative.
The council, through its grounds maintenance contractor Quadron, has teamed up with environmental regeneration charity Groundwork to launch the scheme, called Cultivating Recovery.
The project sees up to five unemployed people working in the borough's parks to gain horticultural skills and get experience in the landscaping and grounds maintenance sectors.
