Phillips previously worked in financial planning for the £1bn-a-year global engineering group FKI, but also has previous experience in FMCG companies with Geest, Perkins Foods and Tinsley Foods. Paul Davis is the new operations director and Geoff Hooper is now managing director. Hooper is also managing director of Chrysanthemum and lily grower SGP.

Steve Phillips has been appointed financial controller at Lincolnshire-based multiple outlet pot plant supplier the Butters Group as part of the company's current re-structuring process.
