Fresh from announcing its "best ever" Christmas trading this week, which saw like-for-like sales for the five weeks to 2 January jump 5.8 per cent, Tesco-owned garden centre group Dobbies has been re-iterating its plans to expand from 25 to 100 stores within the next eight years. The first of a series of joint Tesco-Dobbies new builds is likely to be announced later this year.
