A public consultation on proposals to improve the area around St Paul's will run until 2 March. The aim is to enhance the area in time for the 2012 Olympics.

The proposals include:

  • Relocate the St Paul's coach park and landscape the space to provide a high quality green space.
  • Enhance the setting of St Paul's Cathedral by removing parked coaches from the views of St Paul's and adding green space around the south transept.
  • Make the area more accessible and welcoming — particularly to visitors approaching from the Millennium Bridge.
