Alan Barber
Parks consultantAlan Barber FI Hort, Hon FILAM has more than 30 years' experience in the management of public parks and urban green spaces. As a CABE commissioner, Barber was influential in the work of CABE Space.
A parks consultant since 1992, Barber was also a member of the Government's Urban Green Spaces Taskforce and specialist adviser to the House of Commons environment sub-committee inquiry into town and country parks. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at Horticulture Week's Landscape & Amentiy Awards in 2007.
