Sue Foster, area secretary, International Plant Propagators' Society

Sue Foster is the new area secretary for the East Midlands and East Anglia Region of the International Plant Propagators' Society (IPPS), where her main role will be to organise meetings in which members share their skills in plant propagation and production. She currently works at Thompson & Morgan, and first became involved with the IPPS in 2006 when she was awarded the Richard Martyr Award for research. She takes over from Thady Barrett who is stepping down after more than a decade at the IPPS.
