Report documents merger in detail
Friday, 07 May 2010
A report that documents in detail the merger of Wye College with Imperial College - and its subsequent closure - describes as a "tragedy" the failure of Sir Richard Sykes, appointed rector soon after the merger, to understand the college's potential to play a key role in major issues such as food security and the environment.
The report can be seen online at www.wyeagricolaclub.org.uk. See next week's Horticulture Week for a full report.
