The new partnership will bring a wealth of additional experience to the green heart of Glee, helping to create an even higher profile for attending growers.

Horticulture Week publishing director Richard Watts said: "We are extremely proud to confirm Horticulture Week as a co-sponsor of Glee Nursery. Glee is the essential event for anyone within the garden industry, which is why we were keen to demonstrate our support for the show."

Horticulture Week's sister publication, Garden Retail, will also be hosting an exclusive Top 100 Garden Centres event at Glee, where the best garden centres in the UK will be celebrated. The full list of 100 garden centres will be revealed in Garden Retail's special Glee issue in September.

Glee show director Daniel Thurlow said: "We are really pleased that Horticulture Week is to take an active role in Glee Nursery. This partnership is a valuable endorsement for Glee, and will undoubtedly create a real buzz around the section and the exhibitors taking part.

"The support of both Horticulture Week and that of Glee's nursery other key sponsor The HTA is also reflective of the wider approach we are taking to ensure Glee will work harder than ever for exhibitors and visitors in 2009. With the whole industry grouping together we can create a truly successful platform where retailers and suppliers can meet, discover new opportunities and grow stronger together."

UK growers already confirmed at Glee Nursery include John Woods Nurseries, The Anglia Group of Nurseries, David Austin Roses, Hawkesmill Nurseries and Allensmore Nurseries.
