Available from B&S dealers, the range includes walk-behind rotaries, zero-turns, rotary riders and lawn tractors.
B&S UK, of Cheshire, took over the UK distribution of Snapper products last September. All the new products are powered by B&S engines and many also operate with the choke-free Readystart starting package.
Five pedestrian models cover working widths from 41cm to 53cm. All models have nine-position height of cut. The top-of-the-range ESPV21675 is a self-propelled, three-in-one, cut/collect/mulch machine powered by a B&S 675 series engine with Readystart, costing £449 inc VAT.
The new LT75 series of rear-discharge riders has been designed specifically for the UK and European markets and is offered with B&S 15.5hp or 17.5hp engines. There are seven cutting-height positions and the rear collector, holding 200 litres, can be emptied without the operator leaving the seat.
Snapper now offers the 150 Deluxe powered by a B&S 20hp engine and providing a 106cm width of cut. Button-controlled cutting height gives infinitely variable heights from 3.7cm to 9.4cm. A mulching kit is available as an optional extra.
For more arduous operation, Snapper has upgraded the 375Z with 20hp V-Twin engine and Briggs & Stratton Ferris suspension for greater control on traction.
Two new 4x4 lawn tractors are the YT2350 and RH21H404WD. Both are powered by B&S Vanguard V-Twin engines, the 2350 having a 23hp engine and 127cm cutting width. It is fitted with power steering and a side-discharge collection system as standard.
The LT200 rear-discharge lawn tractors ELT19540RD and ELT2240RD have 102cm and are powered by 19.5hp and 22hp Intek OHV engines respectively. Transmission is hydrostatic and both models have 300-litre collection bags.
