New launches top record at Saltex

IoG chief executive Geoff Webb welcomed the unprecedented number of new launches and record 450 exhibitors at a bright and sunny start to this year’s IoG Saltex.

The sun ensured a bright event at Windsor Racecourse as Webb reaffirmed the show as the sports turf and amenity industry’s leading annual event. Webb said: “It’s been a good start. One trick groundsmen have got right this summer is to bring dry weather with them. “I like the fact that you can look across the entire show and see that there is something for everyone here. It’s nice to see the big companies come back and support the show in the way they have, as well as the way we’ve got back to basics in the Sports Skills Village and the pitch-building demonstration. “I hope the show will reinforce the fact that IoG Saltex has vitality. It is the leading industry show, at the end of the day. Exhibitors will turn up and convert their presence into the sales they need in order to have a healthy business.”
