New Holland targets grounds with compact tractors

New Holland is to introduce a new compact tractor series that it hopes will improve sales in the grounds maintenance sector.

The firm launched a special focus group, led by James Doyle, 12 months ago and Doyle said the result was a new range of compact tractors called Boomer.

The Boomer 1000 series is aimed at restricted areas and delicate turf in municipal and amenity work, and includes tractors with power outputs of 20, 26 and 28hp.

Two new models are available in the Boomer 2000 series and three in the 3000 series, which includes tractors with 41, 46 and 51hp.
