New factory doubles Dennis Mowers' size

Building work on Dennis Mowers' new factory is nearing completion and the company hopes to move in early in the New Year.

The state-of-the-art site is located next to the existing one at Kirk Langley. Work started in mid-August and the company hopes to occupy it by late January. The move effectively doubles Dennis’ size.

The company opened a new factory in 1997 but as sales have trebled since 1998, there has long been a need for more space.

Dennis managing director Ian Howard said: "We have always prided ourselves on being a British manufacturer. We’re also firm believers in quality control, short production times and an ability to respond to change and improvement – that’s where our roots lay and where we intend to keep them."
