New £450,000 funding for MyGardenSchool company

MyOnlineSchool, which runs the MyGardenSchool online education course, has announced new seed funding of £450,000.

This funding will accelerate production of its online vocational and hobbyist courses.

MyOnlineSchool was founded by Elspeth Briscoe (eBay, Skype) and Duncan Heather (Oxford College of Garden Design).  MyOnlineSchool uses weekly video lessons, tutorial assignments, personal feedback and 1-2-1 critiques with experts in their specialist field, including Andy McIndoe and John Brookes.

Investors are Leaf Investments and Howzat Partners, plus 'angel' investors.
