The company was honoured for its ongoing efforts in using active ingredients, which can be found in nature, plus renewable raw materials where possible throughout its range of weed, feed and control products.
The award was presented to the company’s owner and managing director Hans-Martin Lohmann by Professor Dr. Johanna Wanka, Germany’s Federal Minister of Education and Research.
Neudorff UK sales director Jude Beharall said: "This is fantastic news, the brand’s natural and sustainable credentials are highlighted in everything we do and this award is testament to that. Neudorff was one of only three companies in its category (up to 499 employees) to have been shortlisted from 550 initial entries and to win is a great achievement," he added.
The award is given to businesses that prove that success is compatible with social responsibility and environmental stewardship, it is endorsed by the German Federal Government.
