The project aims to "increase and accelerate the uptake and impact of research output by supporting translational and knowledge exchange activity which delivers direct tangible and demonstrable benefits to end users, particularly local policymakers and businesses such as planners, landscape architects and other consultancies to support the development of green infrastructures".

The Green Infrastructure Innovation project call will be open for applications between 21 August - 22 October. Applicants must be based in UK higher education institutions, NERC research centres and approved independent research organisations, but they can be partnered with private, public or third-sector end-user groups.

The Green Infrastructure Partnership will host an event in London on 24 September to explain the project in more detail. Click here for more information.
