Needlefresh launches new range of cover pots

Christmas tree grower Needlefresh has introduced a new range of cover pots, to give retailers a finished product for sale.

The pots follow the success of the company’s pot-grown trees, which are supplied in ‘climate bags’, which ensure the moisture levels are maintained around the root system once the tree is harvested.

The complete system is designed to give a customer-friendly living tree with a complete root system already growing in its pot ready to be displayed in the home.

Each tree comes with care instructions, so that the customer can appreciate how the tree has been produced, and what they have to do to keep it in good health.

Needlefresh managing director Christopher Hood said: "The great thing about people growing their tree on, is it becomes a genuinely eco-friendly product. Trees clean the air by absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. If you plant your tree after Christmas and keep it growing, it will continue to clean the air, and people feel good about that."
