National Trust and Ancient Tree Forum pull together on ancient trees

National Trust director general Dame Helen Ghosh and Ancient Tree Forum (ATF) chair Brian Muelaner sealed and signed a Concordat yesterday (11 June) to celebrate the two organisations' shared commitment to ancient trees.

This historic event was carried out at the Ankerwycke Yew in Berkshire, across the River Thames from where the Magna Carta was sealed at Runnymede 800 years ago, according to an ATF post on social media.
