March GCA figures up

Garden Centre Association figures show March was 5.6 per cent up.

Regional variations were wide, with Scotland and Ireland doing best and the south east worst in comparison to March 2015.

More detail on the figures is not available yet due to a GCA IT failure this week.

Ayletts managing director Adam Wigglesworth said March had been "a solid month" but "April is going to be a disappointment, though it's still all to play for".
