Makita DUR365UZ

Makita UK has introduced a three-speed cordless brushcutter with brushless motor. The DUR365UZ has no drive shaft but an umbilical cord that carries the battery power and electronic control to the motor integrated in the cutting head.

With a cutting diameter of 35cm and 6,500rpm running speed, the 36V unit offers 90 minutes runtime in low-speed mode powered by two fully charged 18V 5Ah lithium-ion batteries. A 31-minute runtime can be achieved in high-speed mode and 52 minutes in middle speed.

Soft start controls torque delivery as the drive head accelerates. The three-speed selector switch is on the cow horn soft-grip control handle, as is the variable speed trigger.

Supplied with waist cushion, shoulder strap, nylon head, goggles, hex wrench, blade cover and accessory bag, it weighs 5.2kg and is delivered as body only.
