This will be the second garden centre for Longacres, which is based at Bagshot, Surrey and turns over £16.5m a year.
Longacres IT manager Mike Ainley said: "The offering will be similar to Longacres with a cafe, indoor and outdoor plants and cut flowers. It's been empty for six months. There's no question it has potential."
There are mower and camping concessions on site. It will open at the end of September after new cabling, flooring and lighting are fitted. The new centre has a plant supervisor role and other horticulture posts to be filled.
