Longacres Garden Centre sees turnover rise

Newly posted results from Longacres, which now has four sites in the south east, have seen an eight per cent rise in turnover.

The results for the year to 31 December 2015, saw margin maintained on turnover up from £28.54m to £30.74m. Profit after tax was £1.22m, up from £1.15m.

Director Nigel Long said the outlook for the year ending 31 December 2016 was "very good" with the acquistion of a new site in Ashford in August 2016.

The main Bagshot site is the largest turnover garden centre in the UK.
