LeisureGrow uses computer generated imagery from CIC

Outdoor living brand LeisureGrow has partnered with advertising agency CIC to launch its new LG Outdoor collection of outdoor furniture using computer generated imagery.

CIC's CGI artists developed technology to re-create details including the rattan weave of furniture materials and outdoor foliage.

Through these techniques, CIC created new imagery, refreshed packaging and a brochure to support LeisureGrow's strategy of engaging with a trade audience at the recent Summer Outdoor Living Exhibition (Solex). The A3 print brochure featured 15 high resolution images depicting the 2016 LG Outdoor furniture ranges in exotic locations throughout the globe.

LeisureGrow managing director Jody Grimmer said: "This is our first foray into CGI, and we're impressed with the incredibly detailed images which really do justice to the quality of each furniture piece and every detail of its design.

"The end product gave us the tools we needed to introduce our latest LG Outdoor collection to a key trade audience in a visually engaging and aspirational way."

CIC managing director Rob Pearson said: "Exterior CGI is still unchartered territory, but our team's unique skill set allowed us to develop the tools needed to re-create intricate design in a challenging high resolution print format."

CIC is an advertising agency specialising in design, photography, CGI and video, with offices in Stoke-on-Trent, Europe and China. Clients include Victoria Plum, Morphy Richards and Nutrimaster.
