Land Restoration Trust produces short film to promote green spaces

The benefits of green spaces have been captured on a film produced by the Land Restoration Trust.

The Land Restoration Trust spent a day filming visitors at five of its green spaces to produce the short film, called Green Open Space: What’s so good about that then?

Land Restoration Trust chief executive Euan Hall said: "We wanted to show the difference well-managed spaces can make to people's lives so, rather than bring out a mound of statistics, we went to talk to the people about it."

The short film features people of all ages and backgrounds who were using the trust's spaces.

The green space film explores:

Weetslade Country Park, Northumberland
Warren House Park, Doncaster
Whitehaven Coast
Greenwich Peninsula Eco-Park, London
Phoenix Park, south Yorkshire

Euan Hall added: "We took a risk in so much as didn't arrange any interviews, we just turned up on the day and spoke to the people who were using the space."
