Lancashire garden centre expansion to meet additional footfall wins approval

Plans to extend a garden centre in Radcliffe, Lancashire have been given outline permission by planners.

The proposal relating to the well-established Newbank Garden Centre sought planning consent for a single storey retail and restaurant extension on the existing garden area and two storey extension to replace the existing cafe building to form a new till hall and offices at first floor level.

The application was approved by Bury Council with conditions to maintain and protect firms and jobs in the borough and to meet the needs of small and growing businesses.

The expansion will help meet added peak footfall.
