King's Seeds prepare for industry Chelsea Flower Show exhibit

Peter Miller, the long-serving director of E.W.King with its Chelsea Flower Show sweet peas heading for the seed trade exhibit as part of the HTA Love the Plot you have Got Exhibit.

Kings is one of 80 companies contributing to the exhibit, which features 40 new plants, five of which (more than any other exhibitor) are entered for the Chelsea Flower Show new plants award, which has 44 plants on the long list.

They are:

Calendula POWERDAISY SUNNY ('Kercalsun') (PowerDaisy Series) bred by Kerley & Co.

Lilium 'Perfect Joy' bred by Pinetops’ Stuart Paton.

Petunia NIGHTSKY ('Kleph15313') bred by Selecta One.

Solenostemon scutellarioides CAMPFIRE (‘Uf12823’) bred by Florida Foundation Seed Producers.

Tagetes patula 'Strawberry Blonde' bred by T&M.

The Sun Flower Square marquee exhibit features four sections.

Brands that are contributing to the display include Dobies,  DT Brown,  E. W, King,  Johnsons, Marshalls, Mr Fothergill’s,  Robinsons, Suttons, Thompson & Morgan, Unwins, Van Meuwen and Woolmans.
