Kings Seeds, supplier of vegetable, flowers, herbs and sweet pea seeds since 1888, is launching a new range of flower seeds for 2016.

Purchasing manager, Andrew Tokely, who joined in October 2014, has worked with the Kings Seeds team to create a new range:

"We have carefully selected beautiful new variations on old favourites, all chosen for their quality and outstanding garden performance, like Cosmos Xanthos, the first yellow cosmos to reliably flower in the UK. We've also chosen many fantastic eye-catching new colours, in annuals, biennials and perennials for all aspects and uses within the garden. We believe this will be a truly inspirational selection for our customers", he said.

The new range is presented in new packaging, designed to help customers differentiate clearly between annuals, biennials and perennials.

Kings have selected their top 200 selling flower varieties, plus their top 40 sweet pea varieties, all with a new stand for garden centres to use. All varieties are also available via mail order.

As well as new flowers, Kings Seeds has introduced 39 new vegetable varieties. This gives a  total of 120 new flower and vegetable introductions into the 2016 Kings Seeds mail order range.

Kings Seeds is currently running Cosmos and Tomato trials with a view to launching varieties in 2016.
