Judges review Landscape & Amenity Awards entries

The main judging has taken place for the Horticulture Week Landscape & Amenity Awards 2008.

This year's panel included: Association of Professional Landscapers chairman James Steele Sargent; consultant landscape architect Nigel Thorne; consultant and former Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew curator John Simmons; Groundwork's Adam White; parks consultant Sid Sullivan; chairman of judges Kate Lowe of HW, CABE's Nicole Collomb, City of London Corporation's Sue Ireland and HW's Sally Drury.

The event took place at the London offices of Haymarket, publisher of Horticulture Week. A list of shortlisted entrants will be published shortly. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner and celebration on 2 October at London's Kensington Garden Hotel.
