IOG unveils new website

The Institute of Groundsmanship has revitalised its website with more membership information and better interactive services.

A new Forum for industry discussion and a blog for users to present topical views and comments has been created and visitors can join the IOG group via Facebook.

The IOG website features enhanced sections for:

  • Membership Benefits, including downloadable application forms
  • Training and Education, including a booking facility for IOG training courses
  • News and Media
  • Directory and Shop
  • Shows and Events, including information on Saltex and Scotsturf and a link to the awards site with information on the National Conference.

The site also allows members to visit their own regional pages where there are local weather, jobs and events, including IOG training courses.

IOG chief executive Geoff Webb said:  "The new site is part of our ongoing commitment to improve our membership offer, and many of the changes have been made in response to members' demands - including the need for more interaction both with the IOG and with their industry peers."
