The National Trust for Scotland's botanic garden is one of the most famous gardens in Europe and one of the most visited in Scotland.
The propagation facility consists of several buildings and a greenhouse of the Venlo type, which will include a potting area, half-hardy area and propagation area.
Specialised fixed and movable cultivating tables with irrigation facilities will be included. The facilities will also have a computer-controlled climate system, which controls the temperature, shading and ventilation for four different zones. A number of other structures and technical installations will be built for the nursery.
The project will begin in September and be built together with Forrest contractor AJ Engineering.
