Imants Spader Debut

The benefits of using a spader to replace traditional ploughing, cultivating and incorporation processes is now available to smaller acreage, specialist and horticultural growers in the form of the 27-Series Imants Spader from JC Machinery.

The unit can be seen for the first time in the UK at the Cereals event on 15-16 June at Boothby Heath near Lincoln.

The 27-Series applies the same spader principles to growers and farmers working in greenhouses, nurseries, vineyards and small fruit and vegetable operations. Models range from widths of 1.2m to 1.8m and lighter weights of 580kg to 700kg. The machines mount to tractors from 45hp to 80hp.
