The chief executive position has been taken by Iain Wylie on an interim basis.

Wylie was managing director at Grosvenor Garden Centre in Chester until Blue Diamond took over this year and he was made redundant.

GCA president Peter Burks said: "With Iain, we needed extra help on e-learning and he was already on the executive committee."

He added: "I asked him to stay on until conference in January and he said yes."

One of Wylie's roles will be to look at the job specification of the new chief executive.
