Where can I buy a Gandy spreader?

These units are designed for the application of granular fertiliser, dry topdressing materials and seeds during overseeding operations. They are drop spreaders and are suited to commercial situations. A range of sizes is available, from walk-behind spreaders to models for towing by lawn and compact tractors, to give distribution of material in widths from 0.6m to 1.8m. For use with mini and compact tractors, there is a choice of trailing or three-point-hitch units with hydraulic, electric or land-wheel drive.

Accurate and even application of granules and other materials at the recommended rates is afforded by a precision-metering system. One model features hydraulic shut-off and an agitator is also available.

Eric Hunter of Maidenhead is the sole UK importer of the Gandy drop-spreader range. Call 01628 778622.
