Taking part in the HW workshop and debate next Thursday morning at 10.30am will be Campey Turfcare Systems founder and director Richard Campey, Lister Wilder group sales manager Phill Hughes and HW technical editor Sally Drury.
Drury will lead the session, which will seek to help attendees avoid costly mistakes when procuring kit - at a time when all spending is under the closest scrutiny.
"Whether you are self-employed with a garden round, a groundsman renovating pitches or a contractor maintaining a local park, your machinery needs to earn its keep. In this workshop we aim to share information and experiences to help you save money."
Topics that will be covered in the workshop include best practice approaches to procurement, how to avoid costly pitfalls, the right questions a machinery buyer should ask, hiring versus buying as well as tips on how to procure kit cost-effectively in a tough financial climate.
