HTA forums to give business advice

Regional business forums planned to discuss industry issues

The HTA is running a series of regional business forums. They will provide a platform to discuss issues affecting retailers, growers, landscapers and suppliers. HTA director general David Gwyther will make a presentation on the Garden Industry Monitor results and on HTA action plans. HTA personnel and training adviser Penny Worner will lead a workshop on working within the law. The afternoon session will focus on HTA initiatives including lean production and business improvement schemes. Director of commercial services Andrew Maxted said the forums offer the chance for dialogue between the HTA and its members. Meetings are planned to gauge member interest on 1 February in Exeter, 2 March in Harlow, and in the North West on a date to be confirmed. Call Trisha Start on 0118 930 3132 for details.
