Hedges Direct launches hedging network for landscapers

Online hedging and shrub retailer Hedges Direct has launched a new database to connect customers directly with landscapers and garden designers who can carry out work for them.

The Hedging Network will allow customers to find planting services in their local area. The tool is free to use for both customers and trade professionals that wish to be listed, and is intended to act as the "missing link" between Hedges Direct's retail and trade customers.

Hedges Direct said it introduced the tool primarily for customers who enquire about planting services when placing an order, as the team often has noone to recommend in response to enquiries, but it is also a chance for landscapers to take advantage of potential business opportunities.

The network will be divided into regions to make it easy for the customer to filter between planting experts in their area. The website is also offering incentives for trade professionals who sign up, including a prize draw and the promise of social media promotion.
