Half-price HTA training for first students to enrol

The HTA's new Diploma in Garden Retail is on special offer to the first 100 learners to sign up.

The diploma, the only specialist qualification in garden retail, combines retail knowledge and horticulture. Activities across 12 modules will be completed in garden centres and recorded in work books that will be sent to assessors for marking.

The diploma is available to HTA members at £350 to the first 100 learners to sign up, after which the full price will be £700.

Jo Ripley, human resources manager at Squires, said: "The HTA diploma appears to be an excellent tool in bringing both plant care and retail together, making it a far more versatile tool for us."
