Topsoils, amenity tree soil, roof garden substrate, subsoil, ornamental barks, turfs and grass seed are all covered in the brochure, along with case studies demonstrating the products in use.

New products included in the brochure include ArborRaft Soil, which Green-tree claims provides "the ideal start" for an urban tree when used in conjunction with the ArborRaft System. The growing media is stable, prevents compaction and provides an open structure to allow the free-flow of water oxygen and nutrients. The system is being used in One The Square, a high-profile project under construction in Cambridge, which is outlined in the brochure as a case study.

The 16-page brochure is packed with the essentials for a planting project, including green roofs and urban tree planting. It also features drainage products, root barriers and wildflowers and highlights a number of projects where Green-tree substrates have been specified and installed.

Green-tree business manager Mark Wood said: "A good quality soil, selected for its properties will make all the difference to the success of a planting project. The new brochure highlights many examples of projects where our different soil products have been utilised with great success."
