Groundwork looking for a new chair

Groundwork has agreed an “ambitious” five-year strategy and is recruiting a new chair to drive this forward.

The chair will help the charity build its profile and reputation, establish new partnerships and improve its business so that it can deliver greater impact on the ground.

Candidates need to have board experience and a knowledge of the changing public and private funding and policy environments in which Groundwork operates.

"Excellent networking, negotiation and stakeholder management skills are required but above all we are seeking someone with the energy, passion and creativity to take this unique and dynamic organisation to the next stage in its development," Groundwork said.

The role is voluntary with expenses.
