The #gluvies campaign will run again for Garden Re-Leaf Day on 17 March.
Greenfingers has seen a 52 per cent increase in Facebook page likes.
On Twitter, the charity has made 2,969 tweets, has 4,376 followers and 2,407 likes.
Fellow garden charity Thrive has made 4,204 tweets, has 4,696 followers and has 406 likes, while Perennial has made 15,600 tweets, has 8,793 followers and 8,476 likes.
Greenfingers raises funds for children's hospice gardens. A new central hub at Keech Hospice Care is being funded by Homebase and designed by Adam Frost and the Homebase Academy students.
Sean Murray, the winner of the BBC’s RHS Chelsea Challenge in 2015, is designing a children’s garden at Grace House in Sunderland. Work on the new "The Nest & Rest Garden" is due to start early in 2017.
